The operator’s capacity is assessed using the equipment controls of the real world excavator on a simulator that will take them through training, testing, and game modes. These simulator functions allow the operator to focus on real world scenarios in order to assess the operator’s capacity to perform the critical physical and cognitive demands of the operating an excavator. The equipment can also be used in treatment to increase the operator’s tolerance to perform the specific critical demands of their work.
